Brett Reisker

Brett Reisker is a 5th year student studying Architectural Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. In May 2015 he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering in the Construction Management option.

Brett's professional experience includes three summer internships working on-site for a construction manager.  In the summer of 2013, he worked in the Interiors Department for Holder Construction Company in Atlanta, Georgia.  He was in charge of complete document control as well as submitting and receiving building permits for the space.

The following summer, he worked in Omaha, Nebraska for Holder Construction in the Operations Department.  During his time he was completely responsible for management of major trades including masonry, miscellaneous steel, overhead doors, and loading dock equipment.  He reviewed and processed submittals and RFIs and also tracked and ensured delivery dates.  Another accomplishment was to complete the procurement for the final clean trade.

During the summer of 2015, Brett worked in State College, Pennsylvania for Holder Construction on the Penn State University Park Data Center.  He transitioned to the field supervision side of the team and helped solve coordination problems that arose with trades in the field.  Along with this he was in charge of quality checks for the MEP trades to ensure proper placement and expected quality of work.  This is all on top of constant safety assurance.  After his internship and transition to his 5th year as a student, he remained on the project as a part-time Field Coordinator.  He is in charge of MEP quality assurance and quality control while also helping resolve problems in the field.
